A garden evolution
Originally built in the 18th century, the manor house at the heart of this site has been extended and
re-modelled repeatedly across the centuries to create a truly unique architectural gem. Indeed it was when the current owners made their own addition,
a sensitively incorporated orangery, that SNGD first became involved. Since then, phased additions to each corner of the grounds have
created a totally transformed space grounded firmly in the 21st century. Having carefully refurbished the interiors of the house, the clients were keen
for a series of connected outdoor spaces around the site that brought functionality and contemporary flair,
without distracting from the charm of their historic property.
